In the early hours of August 4, 2019, a gunman in Dayton, Ohio slaughtered nine people and injured 27 others. This came a mere 13 hours after a gunman slaughtered 22 (as of Aug 7) Hispanics in El Paso, TX.
In a press conference following the Dayton shootings, Police Chief Richard Biehl said,

Who’s Keeping Score?
Me 5
Them 5
Just when you thought Donald Trump couldn’t say anything more ignorant, he comes up with this Tweet about four US Congresswomen.
“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough.” – Donald Trump July 14, 2019
Though not naming them, they are:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York;
Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts;
Rashida Tlaib of Michigan;
Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
What’s The Difference…
…between a hero and a racist scumbag?
On October 10, 2008, presidential candidate John McCain attended a town hall meeting to take questions from the people. A woman holding the microphone says,
I don’t trust Obama. I have read about him, he’s not; he’s not; he’s not um; he’s an Arab.
Hanlon’s Razor
Hanlon’s razor is an aphorism expressed in various ways, including: “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” An eponymous law, probably named after a Robert J. Hanlon, it is a philosophical razor which suggests a way of eliminating unlikely explanations for human behavior. – Wikipedia
The aphorism was a meme I recently saw on my Facebook News Feed.
To Beet Or Not To Beet
If you watch any commercial TV, you may have seen ads for a health product called Superbeets. The spokesperson for the product is none other than Dana Loesch.
None other than?
Dana Loesch is also the controversial spokesperson for the NRA. She was ever present on NRATV with narration for the organization’s videos.
One video is ostensibly a recruitment video. It is nothing less than a vitriolic, inflammatory incitement to violent resistance to liberals and the liberal media.
It caused quit an uproar even from NRA members asking what the hell happened to the NRA.
Collusion Illusion
In case you just got back from the Moon (which is part of Mars), Trump admitted to George Stephanopoulis that he would collude with a foreign entity to get dirt on his opponent.
He also said the FBI director was wrong when he (FBI guy) said he (Trump) should report any contact.
And now the Chairman of the FEC has weighed in.
When Did Silencers Become Legal?
I always thought they were illegal: apparently not.
The National Firearms Act of 1934 created strict limits on the ownership of suppressors, or silencers, as they are also known. In the 42 states that permit civilian ownership of the products, individuals must submit an application to the ATF, pass a background check, and pay a $200 tax stamp.
My home state, Ohio, is one of the 42 where they are legal.
Who is Sholom Rubashkin?
While doing research on Trump’s list of people he pardoned, I came across the name Sholom Rubashkin.
Who is Sholom Rubashkin?
I recognized the name from an episode of American Greed . The episode chronicled how Rubashkin managed and operated Agriprocessors, the largest Kosher meat processing plant in the U.S.

Conspiracy Theories Can Have Deadly Consequences
Sandy Hook
On December 14, 2012, Adam Lanza walked into Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newton, Connecticut and slaughtered 20 young students and 6 adults. The children were no older than 8! Soon after, the conspiracy theories started to fly.
